The final 315 miles of Route 66 comprise its western portion, which runs through the Golden State of California. Entering the state in the town of Needles, it passes through such cities as San Bernardino, Pasadena, the USA`s second-largest city, Los Angeles, and Beverly Hills before ending in beautiful Santa Monica. Even though this portion of the drive is the shortest, it is nevertheless chock full of fun, adventure, and lots of exciting attractions.
