Enjoy the great weather conditions that allow Colombia to produce the best quality coffee in the world. Learn about the coffee production process, its history and how this product has shaped Colombian culture. See the national tree of Colombia located in the valley of Cocora. Wander around the small coffee town of Salento with its unique multi coloured architecture in the heart of the coffee region.

Day 1:

Reception and transfer to and from the chosen hotel in the Coffee Zone. Check-in and accommodation.

Please Note: For transfers with arrive night time, it applies to flights between 21:00 and 06:30 hours, a supplement applies.

Day 2:

Breakfast at your hotel. During the morning transfer to 'Finca del Cafe.' Once in the farm, with the company of a local expert you'll explore the coffee plantations and you'll learn about the coffee process: the sowing, the selective manual harvest and the depulped. Then, you'll toast some coffee grains in a typical peasant house, an authentic coffee experience. The tour continues enjoying the landscape with a cup of coffee. Finally, you'll observe the innovative process of coffee dying and you'll finish drinking a coffee lemonade. Time to take a typical lunch and transfer return to the hotel. Lodging.

Duration: Approximately 3 hours of activity considering the transfer time depending on the location of the chosen hotel.

Day 3:

Breakfast at your hotel. Today you will visit the natural reserve Cocora Valley home of the National tree the wax palm. First, you'll have a welcome cocktail "Canelazo" to then take a tour through the beautiful nature of the region. Then, you'll go to the fog's forest, a place to admire the biodiversity of fauna and flora. There, you'll find the highest wax palm of the world and you'll connect with the earth doing a special ritual planting some plants. Then. you'll go to the typical and oldest town of Salento, where you'll have a walking tour to visit its colonial streets, craft workshops, and the principal viewpoint. Time to take a typical lunch and transfer to return to the hotel. The rest of the day at leisure and overnight. Lodging.

Duration: Approximately 7 hours of activity considering the transfer time depending on the location of the chosen hotel.
