Guatemala
Guatemala is a magical country in the Mayan heartland of Central America. Indigenous Guatemalan culture is alive and well in the ancient ruins of Tikal, the Mayan/Catholic rituals and open market of Chichicastenango, and the blazing colors of everyday Mayan dress. The colonial town of Antigua, and Lake Atitlan, viewed by many as the most beautiful lake in the world, are two destinations guaranteed to enlighten the soul.
Belize is blessed with 180 miles of magnificent coastline, a warm tropical climate, glistening white sand beaches, and an abundance of natural, and historical wonders. It is also home to the longest coral reef in the western hemisphere, and its gorgeous island cayes, jungle rainforests, extensive wildlfe habitats, and well preserved Mayan ruins have made this tiny nation one of Central America's hottest destinations.
