Trip Summary

  • Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Tenerife)
    Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Tenerife)

Santa Cruz de Tenerife, capital of Tenerife, is located in the northeast of the island. Its pleasant climate and its open-air shopping areas make it a perfect city to walk around and enjoy long days of shopping. Among its avenues and parks are hidden sculptures by artists of the stature of Henry Moore and its old town treasures historic buildings, such as the Church of the Conception or the Palacio de Carta. A gastronomic stop on Calle de La Noria is essential. Don't forget to enjoy the golden sands and exquisite Mediterranean waters of Las Teresitas, the most emblematic beach in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Join the Carnival in Santa Cruz, enjoy shopping, visit the Market of Our Lady of Africa after a stroll at Calle del Castillo pedestrian street, take a break at Plaza de España after exploring Parque Garcia Sanabria and visit the art galleries, museums, the water park and of course its popular Mediterranean beaches.

  • Puerto de la Cruz (Tenerife)
    Puerto de la Cruz (Tenerife)

The first tourists to reach Tenerife came to Puerto de la Cruz, and it has still not lost its intrinsic fishing village feel despite the hundreds of thousands of visitors that come here every year. Its fishing dock remains just as it used to be, welcoming the small fishing boats early in the morning with their fresh catches. The pleasure of sitting peacefully in Plaza del Charco is sublime. And an ice cream in one of the many parlours around it is a truly refreshing treat. And you can also experience the privilege of watching the waves breaking on the shore in Costa de San Telmo, with the spectacular lagoons of Lago Martiánez in view. The whole scene creates a fabulous picture postcard. Visit The Loro Park, Lago Martiánez, Playa Jardín, Playa de Martiánez, Botanical Garden, Sitio Litre Garden, Plaza del Chaco, Ermita San Telmo (Puerto de la Cruz), Parque Taoro and so much more!

  • Santiago del Teide (Tenerife)
    Santiago del Teide (Tenerife)

Santiago del Teide is a municipality in south-west Tenerife that ranges from the coast of Puerto Santiago to the pine forests of Mount Teide, with a difference in altitude of 1,000 m (3,280 ft). The weather here is stable all year round, which adds to the beauty of its landscapes and the pleasant temperature of the water, making Santiago del Teide a great place to spend time in the countryside and by the sea. Up in the higher parts of the municipality, the scenery reveals a contrast between volcanic landscapes, vineyards, almond and fig trees. The Chinyero volcano, in the Special Nature Reserve of El Chinyero, was responsible for the Island's latest eruption, which took place in 1909. Enjoy The Playa de los Gigantes, Mirador Archipenque, Beach Los Gios, Iglesia de San Fernando Rey, Piscina Natural Acantilado de los Gigantes, De Tamaimo a los Gigantes, Beach Chica, Mirador de Cherfe and so much more!
