Trip Summary

  • Brussels

Brussels is sumptuous, historic and luxuriously cozy. What makes Brussels special? For visitors, it's full of delights - Grand Place, mussels with chips, pralines, under crowded museums, intimate hotels, Art Nouveau, Horta, Tintin and unbelievable beers. Modern edifices are only a few steps from the cobbled streets, splendid cafés, and graceful Art Nouveau architecture that speak to the city's eventful past. The city's spirit survives in traditional cafes, bars, bistros, and restaurants. Whether elegantly Art Nouveau or eccentrically festooned with posters, curios, and knickknacks, such centuries-old establishments provide a warm, convivial ambience that is peculiarly Belgian.
Enjoy the Grand-Place, Cantillon Brewery, Mini-Europe, Belgian Comic Strip Center, Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium, Saint-Michel Cathedral and so much more!

  • Antwerp

Antwerp is a small metropolis, but it's definitely a vast treasure trove of adventures, cultures, and experiences! Over the years up to today, people have called it a lot of things: the city of diamonds, the city of fashion, the city on the Scheldt, the city of Rubens, and the port city, and it is definitely all of these things, as well as being a city full of charm, culture and sophistication. If you enjoy engaging museums and galleries, excellent gastronomy, hunting down street art and sculptures, alongside sipping some of Belgium's finest beers in trendy bars and old-school cafes, then this is the city for you. Visit the Grand Place (Grote Markt), Cathedral of Our Lady, Antwerp Zoo, Chocolate Nation, Museum aan de Stroom (MAS), Rubens' House (Rubenshuis), Red Star Line Museum, and so much more!

  • Ghent

The magnificent old city of Ghent was one of the biggest cities in Western Europe at the end of the Middle Ages, renowned for its textile industry. Today it is the third biggest city of Belgium and one of the most beautiful ones. Much of the city's medieval architecture remains intact and is remarkably well preserved. Interesting highlights are the Saint Bavo Cathedral with the Ghent Altarpiece, the belfry, the Gravensteen castle, and the splendid architecture along the old Graslei harbor. The city of Ghent also houses three beguinages, recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites, and numerous churches, among which the Saint-Jacobs church and the Saint-Nicolas Church are the most beautiful examples. Visit the Cathedral of St. Bavo, Gravensteen Castle, The Belfry, Graslei, Korenmarkt, Saint Michael's Church and Sint-Michielsbrug, Korenlei Canal, Museum of Fine Arts, Museum of Ghent, Old Market Area, Vismarkt and Kraanlei, Ruins of Sint-Baafsabdij, and so much more!
