►Tokyo: The hotel room in Tokyo was a smoking room and we do not smoke, but the person from the hotel did not change the room for us and said to open the window. They did not have room for us in the restaurant for dinner and we have to go outside the hotel. Our transport pick up was at 5:30pm and we expected to stay in the room until it comes but they kicked us from the room even though we wanted to pay for another day to stay. From 12:00pm to 5:30pm we had to be on the street waiting.
Cairns: The flight was late with 1 hour and the driver for our pick up did not wait for us. We called the emergency phone number and they said to call a taxi because the driver left. Everything else went by schedule, and we enjoyed the trip!

The usual time for check out is around 10AM-2PM, but this is dependent at each hotel and the hours vary. If the hotel does not have to use the room for the next customer, then they would usually accept payment for another day.
